Transcript:

Today, we’re going to talk about the Grip-Tite wall anchors and the installations, and some of the tricks we use.

Hello, I’m Cory with Grip-Tite Manufacturing. So, when we talk about laying out anchors, spacing is typically 2 1/2 to 3 ft off the corners and then not to exceed a 5 1/2 ft spacing down the wall. The idea of that is depending on the type of wall, getting too far apart, if a wall is weak, it can cause fracturing between the anchors, so, staying with your spacing closer together.

On a project where you have a lot of breaks, a lot of cracks, it’s important that you move your anchors a little closer to each other. But we want you to install these, be safe, and give that customer what they’re looking for.
