Visiting Installers: Cracks & Facts with Corey

Corey talks about his time traveling around the world meeting with installers and doing some tune up changes for their businesses.

Today, we’re going to talk about some of the installers I’ve visited in my time here at Grip-Tite.

Hi, I’m Corey with Grip-Tite Manufacturing. So, I get the opportunity to travel around the United States and work with some of our existing dealers and some of our new dealers on the installation processes. I’m pretty excited to share that in all of my visits, all the teams are are really well versed. They are just needing maybe some tune up, some guidance on some things.

All of the installers I’ve been out to visit have been more than welcoming to me. But remember that any time that I’m with these guys, it’s not only a learning time for them, but it’s a learning time for me. Being in the industry in Iowa for 35+ years doesn’t mean I know everything about the soils in all the other states. So, that’s one of the things I’ve learned in the times that I’ve gone out and traveled is to make an assumption that all soils are the same. That is a far cry from being true.

So it’s important that as an installer, you’re understanding your geography, knowing what you’re working with so that you can give the right solution to the problem. It’s been a a learning experience for me and I hope it’s been a learning experience for those that I’ve been out to visit with.
