Understanding ICC Reports

Dedicated ICC Reports

Corey Explains How Grip-Tite Ensures Quality and Compliance

At Grip-Tite Manufacturing, our commitment to quality goes beyond the products we make — it extends to the engineering standards and certifications that back them. One of the key components of that commitment is our work with the International Code Council (ICC) to ensure our systems meet industry requirements and instill confidence with engineers, installers, and inspectors alike.

“Grip-Tite has a team of engineers on staff that can work with questions and concerns you have on any project,” Corey explained. “Grip-Tite does not stamp individual projects, but we support questions about steels, manufacturing processes, and product performance.”

As new products are developed, Grip-Tite submits them to the ICC for review. This independent process results in official reports verifying that materials and designs meet strict national standards.

“In a lot of the bigger states, it is required to have ICC on the products, but it brings us to the top of the field,” Corey said. “Not all products have the ICC report yet, but we are working to get everything ICC certified.”

For installers, this dedication means less uncertainty and more support on the technical side.

“Here at Grip-Tite, we know you have enough challenges day-to-day,” Corey added. “We want to be your support on the engineering side and take that worry away.”

Grip-Tite’s partnership with the ICC reinforces what sets us apart — a focus on integrity, innovation, and dependable engineering support for every project.
