Today, we’re going to talk about the Grip-Tite wall anchors.

Hello, I’m Corey with Grip-Tite Manufacturing. It’s important to make sure that you’ve looked for obstacles, not only inside, but outside&mdashobstacles like trees, sidewalks, a flower bed that has some type of a foot foundation on it. Having those things in mind before you start running rods up or drilling holes in the wall is super important.

Now, the other thing is is being able to figure out ground level so that you know what heighth on the wall to put your anchors. You want to look at ground soil, wherever soil is. We recommend 2 to 2 1/2 feet below ground level. And then you’re going to run that anchor rod out at an angle down.

The idea of the angle down is so that No. 1, it’s diving into deep virgin soil, but also so that water can’t follow the rod back to the house. You can do an amazing job to stabilize the ball, but if the anchors leak, we didn’t win. So, just remember as you’re laying those out that you’re taking in consideration all the things that could be a hindrance for you.

We want you to install these, be safe, and give that customer what they’re looking for.
